Chef Clarito not only has a great truck, but the Filipino food is delicious.
Filipino Style Chicken Adobo. With sweet soy glaze sauce, green onions on garlic rice bowl. This is always my go to dish. It got to the point that Chef Clarito suggested I try something different since I always ordered the same thing.
Curbside Tacos. Adobo chicken, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, caramelized red onions, queso fresco, avocado cream, sweet soy glaze, pickled cucumber. Glad he suggested these. These were very good. Chef Clarito has a great personality. Very friendly even during his busiest times.
Korean Style Mussels. Saffron-orzo-pumpkin risotto with Samuel Adams Octoberfest beer, coconut broth, furikake, and toasted bread. Amazing dish. I apologize for the horrible picture. This dish surprised me. Not at all what I expected. Very flavorful. Shared it with some other foodies and they loved it too.
Sweet Endings Desserts. Vanilla Bean Flan, Coconut Flan, and Creme Brûlée. Chef said we had to try these. He actually took the time to tell us what they were and the love he puts into them. (And yes it looks like Mickey).
These are the lines that he gets at various food truck events. Just had to show this picture. People truly love his food.
Chef Clarito, Salamat. Thank you so much for amazing service and food. Looking forward to tasting many more of your dishes.

Located in Downtown Disney in Orlando. Truckeria has been here for the past four days parked right in front of the Portobello restaurant.
The truck is nice and simple. Many guest would stop by and look at the prices. Very inexpensive tacos.
Chips and Salsa was the first thing to be sold out. @Tarajroth and I had to try one of each of the tacos. The owners of the truck were very nice.
Fish, Chicken, and Korean Pork Tacos. All of them were very good. Lots of flavor and all the ingredients tasted fresh.
It was nice to be in Downtown Disney and pay less than 20 dollars for a meal. Glad to have the Truckeria here. Hope Disney decides to have this truck and others here often.

Maggie on the Move Food Truck
Today I was fortunate enough to find Maggie at the Parkesdale Farm Market Food Truck event. Maggie provides a Mediterranean fusion cuisine to her customers. Accompanied by her well mannered and gregarious son.
Cerdo De Fresas
Spanish style pulled pork and Pita with creamy cilantro slaw strawberry salsa and fried onions.
Maggie being the creative genius that she is contacted Parkesdale and asked for their strawberries to make this perfect dish. What a great concept. Fresh strawberries from Parkesdale mixed with Magggie’s pulled pork. It was the perfect combination.
Bacon Baklava. Maggie has out done herself with this one. They even have bacon spread on the phyllo. Bacon galore on this dish. I took the first bite and was amazed how the flavors come alive in your mouth.
Maggie and Son, (Sorry man, I never got your name even though I shared a sandwich with ya)
You two made my day today. Thank you so much for being awesome and having amazing food. Cannot wait to see y’all again.

Rollin’ Zoinks Food Truck
Here at the Parkesdale Farm Market where Food Trucks have come to be part of the strawberry craze. Today Parkesdale had their Food Truck event and Rollin Zoinks was one of them. Most of the time they are in the Tampa area, but today they were kind enough to come out to Plant City to hang out.
Seared scallops- snow peas, mushrooms, Parmesan, couscous, greens, lemon champagne sauce. This was my good friend Brenda’s dish. Tammy the owner of Zoinks let me take a picture before she rolled them up. This was fantastic.
The Southerner. Fried chicken- green beans, roasted corn, cheddar, risotto, romaine, buttermilk bacon gravy. They also have Sriracha hot sauce that you can pour on it. And trust me, I did. Great tasting chicken and the gravy was amazing.

Renny’s Oki Doki Food Truck
Okinawa type cooking is what it’s all about at Renny’s. Today was the Parkesdale Farm Market event in Plant City. Last few weeks to take advantage of the wonderful strawberry short cakes and strawberry milkshakes. Next week is the end of the strawberry season, but Parkesdale is open year round. Today Parkesdale added Food Trucks to their repertoire. I had the chance to speak to Renny and he told me that his truck was designed by the artist that does Simba and Mulan for Disney. The work is a masterpiece and the guy on the truck is supposed to be Renny. Amazing looking truck. Now on to the food!
Yaki Soba. (Stir fried noodles) Okinawan soba noodles stir fried with veggies and pork belly (bacon cut of pork) This dish was delicious. Had some friends with me and they had the same thing and loved it. Great tasting pork belly. I will have to visit the Tampa area to check them out again.
Renny, thank you so much for your kindness. I love the passion you have about your product. Hope to see you again soon. The food was great.

Glad to say I finally made it. Treehouse has been around since I started truckin’ about a year and a half ago. It’s under new management and is alive and kickin’.
Tonight I was able to find them in Celebration Florida for Food Truck Friday. WOW! This event has grown. More trucks and more people coming out to eat. I had a great time this evening. Big Kudos to Crave Promotions for this successful weekly event.
As you can see it’s a popular truck. The lines go quickly. The Treehouse team is working efficiently making sure the customers get their food in a timely manner. Now, on to the FOOD stuff!
GC Luther. Bacon Cheeseburger in between two Krispy Kreme Grilled Cheese sandwiches. She was gorgeous! As soon as I got her I knew she had to be mine!
Had to share this picture of her showing off her bacon.
She was calling my name, even while I was taking pictures she was pleading with me telling me to put the camera down and take a bite. So…….I did. I took a bite and all the flavors hit at once. The savory and the sweet, the bacon with the melted cheese, and the burger cooked to perfection. WOW! I needed a cigarette after this one. Awesome tasting burger. I can see why the people line up so much at this truck.
Overall, Delicious. Hard working team giving smiles to every customer who approaches their window. It is so obvious that they love what they do!
Treehouse Truck team, thank you so very much for the GC Luther burger and most importantly your kindness. I truly appreciate it. Until we “EAT” again!

After a long exhausting day of eating all day in Epcot at the Flower and Garden show I decided I needed to make one more stop before the evening ended. I went home and brushed my hair (haha) and went back out to find me a good Venezuelan Burger.
This is my third time here. It’s located on OBT right next to the Tire Kingdom on Peppermill. You cannot miss the truck. It’s parked in front of a lawn store and the sign shines brightly at night. They open around 6:30pm and they start prepping. Everything here is freshly made. Nothing frozen.
Locals come from far and wide to get their fix from Teq-A-Bite. It truly is a catchy name. The owners are very nice. One of them asked what I was doing taking pictures and I explained. She was very happy to know that I would be blogging about her truck. It did not pop up on Urbanspoon or Yelp. And getting the word is out is what they are working on now.
All the different sauces are laid out to please all types of palates. The most famous of them all is the Garlic sauce. Tonight I ordered one burger to eat here and brought a sandwich home. The photos will reflect that.
La Callejera. (Stree Burger) Angus beef served on a fresh bun loaded with bacon, muenster cheese, fried egg, ham, avocado, tomato, garnished with salsa verde, ketchup, and mustard. WOW! What is there to say? The burger is made perfectly. You would think that a burger with so much could be overwhelming. But it’s made so well that every bit of the bite is enjoyed with all that is inside.
La Callejera is delicious. It is not messy at all. You pick up the sandwich in your hand and take a bite. The burger remains in tact. However, the sauce does come out when you take a bite. Or should I say Teq-A-Bite.
Pepito. (Meat Sandwich) 7 inch French bread filled with steak, garnished with lettuce, tomatoes, potatoes sticks, ketchup, mustard, green house sauce sprinkled with Parmesan cheese.
This one I took to go and took a pic of the inside when I got home. Again, the pics will reflect that.
Once I got home I was able to take a pic of the meat and how good it looked. I was saving this sandwich for tomorrow, but I decided to dig into it as soon as I got home. The meat was nice and tender and the Parmesan cheese on top truly adds another layer of flavor to the sandwich. Absolutely fantastic.
Teq-A-Bite team, Gracias por todo esta noche. Fue un placer hablar con ustedes y conocer un poco de su negocio. Felicidades, todo estuvo muy rico.

The Poor Porker
Located on Pine and Kentucky in the Lakeland Farmers Market. This place is like no other. This post may be a bit longer than my other ones, but it is so worth it. So, @droolius tells me about this place that @jeffhouck had told him about. I somehow got involved and said heck no I am not driving all the way to Lakeland since it’s an hour away, but on the same morning I am calling @droolius saying heck yeah I will go. WEIRD!
@Droolius had said to show up early cuz he heard from @jeffhouck and others that the line gets long. I showed up around 9:00am and there were people lined up, so I knew I had made the right decision by driving all the way over here this morning.
The problem was that it was FREEZING this morning. People from the North bare with me. Freezing for me is anything below 50. Haha. So, back to my story. I line up and was told to order the bacon and beignet.
Didn’t know the official name until I arrived and saw their nice little menu that had the names of their different specials. Oh Yeah!!
I knew for sure I was getting the Poor Porker. How appropriate since it’s the name of the business. I was told it would be about a thirty minute wait and for some reason I was cool with that. No pun intended. It’s was about 45 degrees according to my weather app.
I knew I could use this time to take some pictures before my hands got numb from the cold. Luckily, Poor Porker served smoked chicory coffee as well. That hit the spot.
Now your probably wondering what this is. This is how long the line got right after I had ordered. There were maybe two or three people behind me at first. It was worse than the lines at Disney. But the locals love this place. They have regular customers every Saturday mornings. People here wake up early just for this.
At last my order was called and I screamed out like I kid, “HERE!!” I figured I had deserved this after driving for so long and having no breakfast. Luckily, I am bald so I didn’t have to brush my hair in the morning and was able to arrive on time. The moment had come to receive my order and dig in.
Poor Porker Beignets. Bacon, maple syrup, smoked salt, and powdered sugar. WOW! That’s it. WOW! Heavenly. And it was one of those things were you take a bite and it melts in your mouth. I ate these in two seconds. That’s how good they were. Best decision ever to come here this chilly morning and so worth freezing my tushy off.
@Droolius and @JeffHouck. Thank you so much for the great time this morning at the Lakeland Farmers Market. Y’all rock!!

(Photo via @TastyChomps)
Any time you are looking for some fixins, Mama’s is the place to be. Soul food at its best. This food truck is top notch. The size itself is overwhelming and the smells that come out of that truck are amazing. Mama is in the kitchen making all her home cooked meals.

Fried Catfish, Fried Okra, Collard Greens, and Cornbread. I tend to find collard greens too salty, but Mama made these just right for my Latino liking. : )
BBQ Ribs, baked beans, peach cobbler, cornbread. Ribs are made nice and tender and filled with flavor.
Fried Chicken, Mac and Cheese, Baked Beans. I have to admit I order this dish all the time. My go to dish when I find Mama.
Mama and family. Thank you so much for the great food and your kindness. Until we “Eat” again.
You can find Mama in Waterford Lakes now. Check out her Twitter @MamasFixins for hours and location.

Local Yolk’l Food Truck
What a great evening to have a @foodtruckbazaar in Kissimmee. Weather was perfect and the sky looked beautiful. Most importantly I got to meet the nicest people today. George and Nicole. Owners of Local Yolk’l.
I have been a loyal follower on Twitter since day one. Wanted a chance to try their “Brinner” as they say, (no relation to Yul) but never got a chance until tonight.
The menu choices were amazing and it was hard to choose. I decided to order the Red Velvet Pancakes and the Hat Trick (joke to be told soon)
Red Velvet Pancakes. Yum. I have seen pics from @lglastorl and others on Twitter and I was looking forward to tasting them myself. These were yummy. Many people asked about them while I was eating.
Wifey ordered the Hat Trick. 3 sliders with Canadian bacon, Pepper Jack Cheese, and Egg, and Spicy Aioli Sauce with Home Fries. (joke coming now) So, wifey orders the food and says the “Hot Trick”. George without blinking says ok and takes the order. When we got the food the box read as follows:
LOL. This was perfect. Don’t know how @tarajroth saw Hot Trick. Finally, she was told it was called the Hat Trick and we all laughed. Thank you so much George for having such a great sense of humor.
Nicole and George, So great to finally have met you. Your food was delicious. We cannot wait to “Eat” again soon.

Louie’s Bistro Food Truck
Louie’s Bistro is not an easy truck for me to access. It’s usually located about 45 minutes northwest from where I live.
I happened to get lucky one day and find them at the Edgewood Farmers Market. First time we met we gave each other a huge hug. Understand, we had never met, but the Twitter world brings people together. Plus, Louis is Latino, so it was an instant connection.
I went straight for the good stuff.
Duck Confit with Carrots and Potatoes. This fell off the bone. It was amazing. Baby Girl and I tore into this dish in a second. Proof of a true gourmet food truck.
California Grilled Chicken Quesadilla with Chipotle lime cream. Louis made these for Baby Girl and he was concerned that the spice was too much for her. Many people know @xobejm is now being more adventurous with her food and she loved these. We were lucky enough to share some with @Cafecocoamo as well so they could taste how good the food was.
Louis, thank you so much for the amazing food. We hope to see you soon and try all your other dishes. UN GRAN ABRAZO!!

Lechonera Mi Pequeño Piñones | Foodbidden
Great way to start a morning. This was a quick stop and I only got one thing, but I had to do a short and sweet blog about it.
Mi Pequeño Piñones has been here for over 10 years serving the local great Puerto Rican food. Mario, the owner, opens at 7am and closing time varies depending how much food he has left. It was nice to be here early morning and see him putting everything out on the buffet.
We call these Frituras. Yep, mostly fried and delicious. Love Puerto Rican culture. This morning I got a Papa Rellena (Stuffed Potato)
Papa Rellena. Yummy goodness on the outside and……
Amazingness on the inside. Stuffed with ground beef and other yummy ingredients. This is perfect on an early morning like today.
He is a tent set up and a table so when the customers come they have a shaded spot. Plenty of locals come here, but this morning everyone ordered to go.
This is the view from the road. Nice and easy to see while driving the speed limit. I found this place a while back. @Eatlocalorlando has it posted on his website as well.
Today was a quick stop before work, but I highly suggest this food truck. Great for anyone on a budget. Lots of food choices. Come on by and visit Mario.

Fat Daddy’s BBQ, LLC | Foodbidden
Competition BBQ is all you hear when they talk about Fat Daddy’s. They go all over the state and place in every event they attend according to the Fat Daddy’s owners.
I had to try this BBQ for myself. I was greeted with a great smile as I approached. Great people who will take time and talk to you about their accomplishments and their love of BBQ.
Brisket Sandwich was what they recommended and I went with the sweet hot sauce for today. I tend to like it super hot, but wanted to enjoy the taste of the brisket. This sandwich was great. Wonderful suggestion. Made so well. I think the picture says it all in this one.
BBQ Beans. Had to try these as well. Just a bit of everything to see what they had. The beans were delicious.
The Brisket sandwich and BBQ beans combo make a perfect pair. I will have to come back to Fat Daddy’s and try their other dishes. I was very impressed.
Sweet corn nuggets. (Food crack) Yes indeed. Freshly made. Nice and hot and tasty. Sweet corn on the inside makes this the perfect bite.
This is a must try. Fat Daddy’s has great BBQ and made by folks who love to make it.

My father in law took me to Roscoes Chicken and Waffles in California. I thought it was the craziest thing I had ever heard. After waiting in line for about twenty minutes and having to go through a bouncer to get in the door we were finally let in. The chicken and waffle mix blew my mind. I needed more of this. When I came back to Orlando I searched on line and found @Melissaswaffles. It was a moving target so I had to always be on top of where they were and and what times. I finally found them. It’s been the best experience ever. It got me addicted to food trucks in general. @Melissaswaffles has always been gracious and very kind. The owners have truly become people that I would love to hang out with. It is always a pleasure to eat at this truck.
Enough of my cheesy story. Lets get to the good stuff!! First order,
Chicken and Waffle with country gravy. YUM. My daughter who is 9 years old always loved her waffles plain, but now she is hooked on the country gravy waffle. This one is one of those that words cannot explain. You have to try this one for yourself. I sometimes add syrup as well just to have the sweet and the salty taste in one. Fantastic.
The Spicy Waffle, lettuce, tomato, topped with spicy house sauce. Amazing. All those flavors put together are great. I tend to grab it and fold it up and eat it like a big ole taco. Messy and delicious.
The Spicy Taco, @melissaswaffles has really perfected this. All the spicyness in a taco. A dream come true for me. I was tempted to add syrup to this too just to see what it would taste like. We also tried the Spicy taco with ranch dressing to changed it up a bit.
Wonderful with the ranch dressing. Nice to have the spicy of the house sauce and some tangy flavor from the ranch. Nothing tops this fantastic taco better than some waffle fries.
There they are in all their glory. The question is how to make room for these fries after tasting all these waffles and tacos. If ever in a mood for something salty and sweet come on by and visit Melissa’s Chicken and Waffles. Best way to find them is on Twitter. @Melissaswaffles. Enjoy

Niffty Fiffty’s Diner Food Truck
Baby girl and I went to the Food on Wheels Saturday event today. Starting this Saturday and every Saturday from 4pm to 10pm. 9900 S OBT in Orlando. I frequent food trucks, so finding a new one today was exciting. It’s called the Niffty Fiffty’s Diner. Seems they tend to be in the Winter Park area. Glad they were out this way today.
The menu is hard to see, but it does show the variety of sandwiches and treats that they have. I asked Ray what their most popular item was and he said it was the Cheese Steak sandwich. I replied with a Yes Please,
Not sure why the small pic and the bigger pic but here ya go. Even if the pics do look a bit ghetto you can still appreciate the yumminess. The Sam’s Cheese Steak Sandwich: Thinly sliced Prime Steak, Cheese, Bell Peppers, Onions, and Mushrooms on a Hoagie Roll. Ray himself got in the truck and made it for me. Sandy was the one who rang me up. Such a sweet woman. They were all extremely friendly.
I could also see inside the truck and on the outside table that they had sweets. Anyone who knows me knows I love me some sweets. Hence the dozen cupcake pictures you keep on seeing in my blogs.
Pumpkin cheesecake made by the pastry chef Allan. Very informative and broke down the ingredients and percentages of different types of dark chocolate. Any truck with a pastry chef has my attention. I ordered three more items.
The Chocolate Espresso Fudge Cake: Dark Chocolate Fudge Cake, layered with Espresso Ganache and Chocolate Espresso Swiss Merengue Buttercream.
White Chocolate Cheesecake: A creamy White Chocolate confection with a chocolate graham crust, topped with chocolate ganache and raspberries.
The brownies always merit two pictures. One is the Brownie Noir: Deep dark chocolate brownies made with 85 percent cocoamasse German chocolate and sour cream. Topped with a 52 percent cocoamasse French chocolate ganache.
The other is the Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Square: Studded with Hershey’s milk chocolate baking melts and topped with Hershey’s kisses, iced with Hershey’s milk chocolate ganache.
Baby girl and I ate more desserts than dinner tonight. We loved every bit of it.
Check out their on line store. They make their own bacon, corned beef, and pastrami.

Niffty Fiffty’s Diner Food Truck
It feels like just yesterday. I had heard that the Dr. Phillips area would be hosting some food trucks. So, I had to check it out. After leaving the crew in Winter Park I decided to take a trip to Dr. Phillips area alone to find some good food. I arrived early and took advantage of taking some shots of the trucks while they were setting up.
I am happy I arrived early. As soon as the event started Caro-Bama had lots of people lining up for their food. This was their first event and they had everything prepared for the customers who were anxiously waiting to eat some good ole BBQ.
@Carobamabbq gets down to business and starts taking care of some hungry customers. I had to try their BBQ. Once I decided to order food I ended up being about 20th in line. For their first event they were doing great. Now lets get to the food.
Caro-Bama: Pulled pork, Bama white sauce, Carolina vinegar sauce. The tastiest sandwich I have had in a long time. Correction, the best BBQ I have had in my whole life. The whole story of how the Carolina and Alabama flavors came together is best told by them. The nicest people I have met. As I started tweeting about them, my slogan for them was always, “Good eats, Good peeps”.
Palmetto: Pork, cole slaw, banana peppers, Carolina mustard sauce. Every piece of this sandwich is fantastic. So many great flavors put together in one sandwich.
Free Bird: Chicken, chopped onions, jalapeños, and Bama white sauce. I went with the chicken on this one to try a bit of everything. Caro-Bama delivers great quality. Every sandwich I tasted was beyond amazing. Now, as you know @ShortTallofFood wrote up a great piece on Caro-Bama and proud to say I was there when they met and when they tried the Caro-Bama food. Their blog breaks down the flavor of the food and the true essence of @carobamabbq.
@Carobamabbq is now at all types of events. They have started the @foodtruckbazaar circuit as well. The great quality of food has continued and the Caro-Bama kindness has been consistent since day one.
Anyone and everyone knows I love all kinds of food. But, I always say the people have to be nice. @Carobamabbq is the epitome of nice. Thank you so much for the great food, but most of all thanks for the great conversations we have had.
Good eats, Good peeps!!
